Championing children means putting them at the centre of everything we do and this is at the heart of our vision. We want children to succeed academically, creatively and personally in order to leave primary school ready to take on the next phase of their education and their lives.
We recognise that fostering positive relationships and partnerships is pivotal to a child’s success and therefore working together with our families and the wider community is something we place great importance on.
We value all of our children’s differences and celebrate what it is that makes them special and unique whilst recognising everyone’s equal importance. Our school values of kindness, respect, confidence, tolerance and self-discipline form the backbone of everything we do at St John’s and are lived out by our whole school community.
Primary school should be an adventure. It should create some of the happiest memories in a child’s life and there should be smiles and laughter in abundance. We hope that our website provides you with an overview of how we enable our pupils to thrive and achieve success.
